Ruah symbol

The RUAH symbol, created by
artist Kazuyo Duncavage, is
a Japanese pictogram which
means "breath".

It combines the concept of

The RUAH Spirituality Institute, Inc., is a non-profit corporation dedicated to interfaith understanding and spirituality in all its forms. RUAH offers workshops, classes, retreats, ongoing groups, and other educational forums to the greater Boston community.

Major issues addressed include interfaith dialogue, spirituality and aging, dying and grief, healing, spirituality and the environment, and mystics and mysticism in all religious traditions. RUAH aims to increase understanding among religious traditions, to provide spiritual sustenance to all, and to create peace one person at a time.

Incorporated on December 1, 2002, RUAH is an independent organization whose identity is far broader than any church or specific religious tradition. RUAH's Board of Directors and Advisory Council come from the experience of many spiritual traditions, and represent RUAH's commitment to interfaith work.

RUAH's office is located at All Saints Parish, 1773 Beacon Street in Brookline. RUAH acknowledges with thankfulness the many contributions of All Saints Parish to the development and support of RUAH.
